LANGUAGE CLASESS
1. ENGLISH LANGUAGE
No one can deny the importance of the English language and the
benefits it can bring to its users. It has certainly become the lingua franca
and will have the same status in future as well. In this regard, at Al-Beruni
Model Secondary School, English learning through activities and
competitions is a great contribution
towards this aim. A number of English competitions throughout the academic year
are to be held to foster a love in students towards learning English.
To encourage students to use the language as much as they can, every month witnesses one selected student from each class as the Most English Speaking Student in class. All the designated students are awarded with MESSIC Badges, Certificates of Appreciation and some cash prizes to invigorate them to keep conversing in English and to motivate other students to make efforts to speak in English to earn this award.
2. CHINESE LANGUAGE
The
importance of Chinese stands out as the most spoken language in the world with
over an estimated billion people in China and various other parts of
the world speaking it. One can easily assume this makes Chinese one of the most
important languages on the planet. China as a country is growing by leaps and
bounds as a world power and shows no sign of slowing down.
Recent
studies have shown that Chinese has become a popular choice for a second
language among college students. Surpassing the previous favourite that
includes Spanish, French, and German languages.
Therefore, Al-Beruni Model Secondary School has commenced the teaching of Chinese language to its students to ensure that when students pass out they would have done the Chinese language tests; HSK-1, HSK-2 & HSK-3.
3. ARABIC LANGUAGE
The honour Arabic Language enjoys as no other language does
because Arabic was chosen by Allah, and Holy Quran is
written entirely in Arabic. Therefore, every Muslim must learn to read and speak Arabic, the language of the
prophet, in order to be able to understand and interpret the word of Allah
through prayer and reading the Quran
In this regard, at Al-Beruni Model School, we ensure that our students learn Arabic language very well so that they not only understand the glorious Quran but also convers in Arabic language.
